Draft for review. These terms are a plain-English draft and should be checked by a solicitor before the service goes live, together with the wording of the email-spoofing claim and the demonstration consent.
ProNet Cyber is a trading name of Leisure Websites Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, at Unit 79723, PO Box 4336, Manchester M61 0BW. “We” and “us” mean that company.
The check reads your domain’s public email settings and reports whether they stop someone sending email in your name. The demonstration, if you choose to run it, sends one email to your own address only, to show you what a forged message looks like. It is only ever sent to the address we already wrote to, and cannot be used against anyone else.
A report tells you what we found and the exact settings to fix it. It is information and guidance, provided in good faith on the basis of what was publicly visible at the time of the check. It is not a guarantee, and it is not legal advice. We do not access, log in to, or change your website, email or systems; applying the settings is done by you or your provider.
Monitoring is a monthly subscription that re-checks your domain and alerts you if its protection changes. It runs until you cancel, which you can do at any time; cancelling stops future payments and the next renewal, and is not backdated. Monitoring tells you if something changes — it cannot by itself prevent a change someone else makes to your settings.
Payment is taken securely by Stripe; we never see or hold your card details. Prices are shown before you pay, in pounds sterling, including VAT where it applies.
Because a report is a digital product delivered immediately, where you are a consumer you agree that we begin supplying it at once and that your 14-day right to cancel ends once it has been delivered. If a report was not delivered, or was plainly not as described, contact us and we will put it right or refund it. Monitoring can be cancelled at any time for the future as above.
The check and demonstration are provided for you to assess your own domain. Do not use them against domains that are not yours, and do not attempt automated or bulk use. We may limit or block use that breaks this.
If we wrote to you, it is because a public check found your domain was not protected against impersonation. The email identifies us and offers a one-word way to stop. Replying with the word STOP ends it permanently. See the privacy notice for what we hold and for how long.
We do not limit our liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise our total liability to you for the paid services is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for a failure caused by something outside our reasonable control.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
